What is the problem?
There were nearly 35-40 harassment cases filed in India, in the last 1 month.
Irrespective of age, location, literacy, appearance, clothing, timing, still safety crimes happen.
How do we make it easier for women to commute & move around in this world?
What are the current solutions?
Location sharing, SOS clicks, Watch SOS, Helpline numbers are present.
But mostly, the usage of mobile phones is required in an emergency to get help, which is highly unfeasible.
How do we make it more accessible to alert quickly, also discreet, so that the user is safe?

🚨 The need of the hour is safety
A pigeon tracker or a bird tracker can track birds across continents by using satellite signals. If a small ring could do it, the same tech can be applied in Haven ring.
Using satellite signals for SOS is a way better option, due to it's reach & independence of mobile network/wifi.
We started studying the concept of a pigeon tracker ring.

We want to make this ring accessible & easy for people who have vision issues too, so that they easily recognise the tappable area at time of distress.
Flow will start from pre delivery of the product, to educating the user & making them use the product.

Signing up
The saved user’s data from the previous step will be populated in app, when the same phone number is given on signup. The user just has to verify it once.
🤩 Due to the segregation of data collection process, user feels less overloaded with the setup. Also when the app recognises the user, it feels more welcoming.

Quick guide
User views a quick one page guide, to understand the 2 faced ring & how to use it at times of emergency. User would tap just like SOS alerting, and we would be educating user about the next steps that would happen.
🤩 The easy quick guide helped users quickly finish setup, instead of multi page tutorials. Also educating them the next steps makes them use the ring judiciously, only when needed.

Emergency contacts
User will add upto 5 emergency contacts, and choose if they want to share location all the time, or send location & SOS only when triggered.
🤩 This sense of control of choosing whom to share what help with privacy. Example, hostel warden will need SOS alerting more than real time location shared all the time.

This card will be shared to all emergency contacts & police when SOS is triggered. This would have helpful data needed to track the user like home address, emergency contacts, office details & address, daily commute route & vehicle numbers.
🤩 Sharing this card as PDF along with SOS message lets helpers easily identify & locate possible locations of the user.

1.SOS is sent as a message to emergency contacts, police & patrollers.
2. If user has the phone, long pressing the widget triggers SOS alerting.

Profile Creation On Purchase
User’s profile would be created with a face visible photo, name, gender, email, number, DOB & address. All these data will be linked to the ring before it reaches the user’s hands.
